Welcome to Burnt Factory United Methodist Church! We are a church that is experiencing growth and are excited at the wonderful opportunities God is placing at our doorstep. We invite all who are searching, seeking, or wondering about church to come and be a part of our family. For all who may want to explore this thing called faith; we offer an opportunity to come and share in worship. Presently, we offer a traditional Sunday morning worship service at 11:00 a.m. with Sunday school meeting at 9:45.

Burnt Factory U.M.C. is a family of believers that are committed to Jesus Christ. We practice what Robert Schnase coined as “The Five Practices of a Fruitful Congregation” in that we are committed to: (1.) Radical hospitality (2.) Passionate worship (3.) Intentional faith development (4.) Risk-taking mission and service and (5.) Extravagant generosity. We are not a perfect place with perfect people for we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. But we are devoted to worshiping and proclaiming the truth, hope, grace, love, and good news of Jesus Christ in that: “Christ died for us while we were yet sinners; and that proves God love for us!”

We are glad that you are visiting us and we hope and pray that you will find a bible believing, Christ-based family church. God bless you!

Our Vision Statement:

Burnt Factory United Methodist Church moves forward with hope and confidence because of the grace God has shown us in Jesus Christ, the author of our salvation. We endeavor to share the love of Christ with all people through providing a meaningful worship service that welcome and invites all to God's house and table in genuine community, love and fellowship. We trust that God will provide willing and committed workers so that His will may be done.

To this end, we commit to Jesus' admonition to love God with all our heart, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We believe and strive to provide a nurturing environment at Burnt Factory that uplifts those that have fallen, strengthens those that are weak and fills those that are seeking. We endeavor to share the love of Christ with all, through providing vital outreach and witness ministry, committing to Jesus' commandment to go and make disciples of all nations. Through witnessing and personal testimony we will carry out our mission of making disciples of all people.

We believe and strive to make a difference in the world by reaching out to those who are wanting, regardless of ethnicity, social status, age or gender. We envision additions in physical facilities, membership and programs to promote the spiritual growth of each member. We believe and strive to provide an environment of love that maintains a balance between maintenance focus and mission focus.

Our intent is to build faith and discipleship within each person who comes to Burnt Factory United Methodist Church. We hope all who come will begin to experience the joy of new life in Christ and to feel the peace that passes all understanding. By responding to God given opportunities, as guided by the Holy Spirit, we will strive to become the church God has called us to be.
