Diana K. Smith, Director of Music Ministries

Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning ~ Psalm 30:4-5

A life-long member of Burnt Factory, Diana has been singing all her life with her first solo at 11 years old. Assuming the role as Choir Director in 2004, she continues to lead the men and women of the choir to provide the congregants with an atmosphere of Passionate Worship through music. How beautiful the sound is.

A Winchester native and alumni of Handley H.S. and The School of Radiologic Technology, Diana is employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Martinsburg, WV. She enjoys card-making, scrap-booking and spending time with friends and  family.  Her Mom, Dolores; Sister, Debbie; Daughter, Tiffany; and Grandchildren, Mason and Jamar also attend Burnt Factory. Her favorite hymn is Rock of Ages as was her father’s, Dick Knight.

The choir is a blessing to God’s faithful each Sunday morning. Providing the gathering music, introit, anthem and benediction, the voices of the members fill the sanctuary with God’s praises. Cantatas for Easter and Christmas, as well as, special services throughout the year are more opportunities to hear their wonderful sound.

The mission of the choir is to enhance the experience of the congregants by ministry through music and, most importantly, to please God with their gift of song. Those of high school age and older who are interested in joining in the Music Ministry, both voice and instrument, are invited to contact Diana.
